Customize keyboard shortcuts

Google Web Designer comes with default keyboard shortcuts, but you tin can modify them to your liking.

To view or change keyboard shortcuts, select Edit > Keyboard shortcuts... from the top carte du jour. If you make any changes in the keyboard shortcuts dialog, click Relieve to use them.

Create a new preset

Presets let you save dissimilar sets of shortcuts so that yous can chop-chop switch between them.

  1. Click the new preset button.
  2. Enter a name for the new preset.
  3. Click OK.

The new preset copies the shortcuts from the previously selected preset.

Google Spider web Designer automatically creates a new preset if you make changes to the default preset.

Change a shortcut

  1. Expand the department containing the shortcut you lot want. To find a shortcut more easily, you lot can type office of the shortcut's name in the Filter shortcuts field.
  2. Select the key binding that you want to change. A yellow underline appears.
  3. Printing the new central binding that you want to use. If the key binding is already being used for another shortcut, a warning appears.
  4. Press Enter to consummate the change, or Esc to revert it.

Remove a shortcut

  1. Hover over the shortcut that you want to remove.
  2. Click the X push button.

Export a preset

You can consign a preset in order to share it with other Google Web Designer users.

  1. Select a custom preset.
  2. Click the Consign preset button.
  3. Save the consign.

Transfer the exported .js file to the calculator where you lot want to import the preset.

Import a preset

If you have the export file for a preset, you tin import it into your case of Google Web Designer.

  1. Click the Import preset button.
  2. Navigate to the binder containing the .js file and select the file.

The imported preset at present appears in the Preset dropdown.

Delete a preset

  1. Open the Preset dropdown.
  2. Hover over the preset you desire to delete.
  3. Click the 10 button.

Note that you can't delete the default preset or the currently selected preset.
